Time To Put Our Heads Together

Posted by Rob | Posted in General Time To Put Our Heads Together

It was a nice surprise to get a copy of the latest project by Greig Anderson of Effektive. We are always keen to see new work from Greig, especially when it’s printed on black Plike by GF Smith, a firm favorite of ours after seeing the results on Raw Type.

Greig designed the illustration as a typographic response to an event he took part in for The Drum, and was aptly named ‘Time To Put Our Heads Together’. The event aimed to invite a cross section of established agencies in Scotland as well as a few newer studios, with the aim of sitting round a table and discussing some of the industries current challenges.

There’s a limited edition of 50 hand-numbered and signed A2 prints silkscreened in metallic silver on black Plike by, and 25 hand-numbered black onto pearl grey pilke. They are available now from Effektive’s online shop.

They certainly have… big fan of the branding work they did for Render Architecture:

Grez, not sure who Greig used but we used K2 Screen http://www.k2screen.co.uk/ for the Raw Type poster.

Last year I enjoyed a lovely break in the tulip/typography Mecca that is Amsterdam. Brazilian agency Quadradao (which roughly translates as ‘boxy’) have recently relaunched their site with lots of lovely new projects.
