For moustache lovers…

Will it be a pencil-thin Didot? How about a handlebar Futura? A walrus Hoefler perhaps? Or maybe something a bit different?

Moustaches, like typefaces, come in all shapes and sizes and the brace (aka. curly brackets, flower brackets, birdie brackets, or chicken feet or chicken lips) bears a striking resemblance to the upper-lip monster when rotated 90º.

So, I’ve had a root and my personal fave is the one featured at the top of this page. Any guesses? I’ll treat the the correct guesser to one internet pint.

Great idea by the way, not sure who did it but kudos. One of those I-wish-I’d-though-of-that ideas. So, so simple.

Brazilian agency Quadradao (which roughly translates as ‘boxy’) have recently relaunched their site with lots of lovely new projects. I admire their simplicity of predominantly working in type, shape and colour. “Modern architecture influences us, not as form but as a method”. To see more [...]
